Belt Bash gives drivers a chance to take home some good money

One of the races that helps make the Silver Dollar Nationals an awesome event is the Belt Bash. The event sponsored by Omaha home builder Al Belt of Belt Custom Homes gives drivers who have not made the Silver Dollar National feature a chance to make some good money. It also gives the top three finishers in that race a chance to give back their winnings and tag the back of the big show.

Last year, Promoter Joe Kosiski gave the top three finishers that option and all three (Brantlee Gotschall, Tommy Weder & Clay Daly) gave their winnings back and chose to start the 80 lap Silver Dollar Nationals feature. This years Silver Dollar Nationals is July 20 thru 22.

This year's Belt Bash pays $3,000, $2,200, $1,500, $1,200, $1,000, $800, $700, $650, $600, $550, $500, $480, $470, $460, $450, $440, $430, $420, $410 and $400.

I-80 Speedway is located one block north of Interstate 80 Exit 420, halfway between Omaha and Lincoln. The Physical Address is 13909 - 238th Street, Greenwood, NE. For more information, visit www.i-80speedway.com or call (402)-342-3453. Don't forget to follow us on Facebook and Twitter.
