Right now I've got a Victor Jr. on the car but I feel like I'm lacking in the torque department. Right now the car is turning ~7100 rpm, my engine builder is telling me I need to be turning the motor 7600 rpm but I don't feel like turning more rpm is gonna make that much of a difference in torque. The rules allow any cast aluminum or iron intake, no porting or polishing allowed. So I'm looking at the performer rpm intakes, but I don't know if the air gap or non-air gap would be better. The air gap has a plenum divider notch cut out of the top of it where the carburetor sits, but I'm not sure if the spacer for the 2bbl would mess that up. If ya'll have any opinions on this or think there's a better intake out there I'm all ears! Thanks!
