BRASSTOWN, NC. – July 13, 2017 –The Schaeffer’s Oil Southern Nationals Series presented by Sunoco Race Fuels and Tennessee RV has announced a technical bulletin before the 11-race mini-tour kicks off this Saturday July 15th at Wythe Raceway in Rural Retreat, Va.
Effective immediately (July 13, 2017), Air Dumps and Air Shocks will be strictly prohibited in the Schaeffer’s Oil Southern Nationals Series, the Schaeffer’s Oil Southern Nationals Bonus Series and the Schaeffer’s Oil Spring Nationals Series. The proper language and rule book amendment will be released at a later date. This rule will also stand for the Schaeffer’s Oil Iron-Man Late Model Championship Series.
The 11-race mini-tour will begin this Saturday July 15th at the Fred Brown-owned Wythe Raceway in Rural Retreat, Ca. as the SNS travelers will compete 53 laps for $10,000-to-win. Dale McDowell of Chickamauga, Ga. is the defending series event winner at Wythe Raceway.
