Delmas Conley Claims Top Five at Atomic; CMI Eyes Three Different Buckeye State Ovals

(WHEELERSBURG, OHIO) Dirt Late Model Hall of Famer Delmas Conley was the lone Conley Motorsports, Inc. (CMI) driver in competition on Saturday evening, July 8, as his #71 team was in dirt-slinging action at Atomic Speedway in Alma, Ohio. Delmas won his heat race during the prelim portion of the weekly program and later started the $2,000 to win feature event from the inside of the second row. The Wheelersburg, Ohio native then hung around the top five on the rough racing surface during the 25-lapper and eventually wound up fifth in the final finishing order behind only winner Kody Evans, Steve Casebolt, Jackie Boggs, and Billy Gullion. Full results from the former K-C Raceway can be viewed online at www.atomicspeedway.net.

While R.J. Conley is slated to take another weekend off from racing action, Rod will join his father in competition this upcoming weekend. “Hot Rod” will vie for the $2,000 top prize on Saturday, July 15 at Atomic Speedway in Alma, Ohio, while Delmas will shoot for the same winner’s check at the nearby Portsmouth Raceway Park in Portsmouth, Ohio. Rod and his #71r team will then venture north to the pristine Mansfield Motor Speedway in Mansfield, Ohio on Sunday, July 16 for an unsanctioned Super Late Model battle, which will feature a $5,000 payday. More information concerning each of these races can be located by clicking on www.atomicspeedway.net, www.portsraceway.com, and www.mansfieldmotorspeedway.com.
