He knocked down win #15 last night at Oakshade. I know a lot of teams that would love to have 15 wins in a season. He's done it before August...

15 wins in a season is a great year, hopefully it can start the company on the path toward being in the national touring conversation again

Gotta be on a national tour or run a ton of touring races to get into that conversation.

He wouldn't have to do GO FUND ME (not a nice word)(not a nice word)(not a nice word)(not a nice word) if he didn't pass up big money races to go somewhere paying half lol He will be out of money motors and cars in a another month driving someone elses equipment barrowing someones motor matter of time

Goincircles dont you dare rip on rusty, hes winning races all over the country with no money at all. What he is doing is incredible and hes so young its just amazing. I said it earlier this year not only should we all support the gofundme for a new engine, but we should all send money directly to him so he can pursue his dream.

He didn't start the go fund me page a friend of his did. And I've seen this crazy bastard do stuff others wouldn't consider to get to the track. Yes I'm a friend so I'm probably biased but the people who hate are obviously biased too so it is apples to apples. We started an engine swap at 3:00 in the afternoon on Saturday once last year after finding a broken lifter after winning at I-96 on Friday. We didn't have a bolt long enough for the harmonic balancer and bottom pulley so we loaded and stopped at TSC and bought a piece of 1/2" solid steel rod. He threaded both ends at the track and finished the engine swap (water pump, pulleys, belts, radiator, fired it, and set the timing). We won that night with home made bolts holding our stuff together. The dudes a racer flat out and an old school one at that. I don't know how you can't appreciate a less funded team winning races in this day and age.

Young are you frickin kidding me lmao they were screaming 15 years ago at Butler motor speedway how great he was going to be better go watch him now he will be in NASCAR in just a few years lmao the dude points races he doesn't run where the big money is Ive watched him since he was a kid and Ive seen him tear up more (not a nice word)(not a nice word)(not a nice word)(not a nice word) than anyone every year he barrows cars , motors parts of cars and yea did a go fund me for a motor that was being fixed after the money was raised its really funny how it took him almost a month to pick up the motor but in the mean time he somehow purchased an ice cream parlor lol how convenient

Not to mention Rayburn is about 10 years behind. Half the suspension parts on them cars look like they came off a train and not a train built by professionals either.

I don't get how Rusty gets threads about how awesome he is for beating local drivers while openly avoiding even bigger regional shows, but Davenport runs a couple regional shows to get acclimated to a new car and there's bashing in the thread about that.

I saw Rusty lay the wood to Miley, Drown and other stout regional guys for $5k just a few weeks back. He will race when not points racing. Anyway, I have no problems with either guy racing how he wants.

But, Rusty is in a Rayburn and never been a national star. So, they are certainly held to different standards.

I didn't see anyone say Schlenk was "awesome". The only thing Rusty and JD have in common is talent. The equipment they are driving is on the opisite end of the spectrum.. And yes, he's "openly avoiding" bigger regional shows. That's why he's running the CBC show at Farley tonight.

We already have half of 4m kissing JD's ass, acting like little school girls at a Justin Bieber concert and calling him the greatest driver since Mario Andretti, do we really need any more?

I've never seen Schlenk race, but he's winning a lot so what's wrong with that? If it's so easy to win the races he's winning, why doesn't one of these "poor little local guys" with the Longhorns and XR1s beat him more often?

Most I'm sure don't even know or care what a DLM even is, they simply spend their days making asinine juvenile comments to each other, hijacking thread after thread. It must be the hollowest of existence for them, laughing to themselves about how quick witted they are. 4m was once a cool place to frequent, now its the synagogue of Satan.

Schlenk runs 6th at Farley w/Cornbelt Clash after Marlar DQ
To those who bash Rusty for not running Lucas or WoO and declaring he hides from "real" competition, he ran Farley against a stellar field. The field included Bloomquist, Marlar, Birkhoffer and many more. He finished 6th, but he was there, running against and irrefutably strong field and several, "Non-Rayburns" were behind him all night. This is the kind of run you can build on.
