It looks like Bloomquist and Crew have got the problems straightened out. We heard it could be the fuel pump or the ignition but it was vapor lock from the carb. They fixed just in time for the big show. Yeah yeah!

If you know the properties of the fuel used today and the fact that the carb is isolated from the heat of the motor, you would know that vapor lock is not possible in the carb of a DLM. Bloomquist is a master at misdirection.

Glad he got it fixed.....now what about the "vapors" coming from the hauler? :)

If you are so smart why don't you explain the real problem to us -- or maybe you're not!

I am pretty sure Scott said the fuel pump is up front, running off the power steering pump, and they thought it was getting hot and vapor locking.

He got away from Base fuel and switched back to VP racing gas , problem solvedIs that true? I thought he had a problem with the back up car also, so I was thinking that it could have been fuel related. Yes he can tell everyone what they want to here. No racers give up any secrets or knowledge.

Maybe the problem has been the tires are being overinflated. LOL

Or the Lexan window instead of a window net.

Yep. That's a finely tuned race team right there. Surprised nobody died over that bonehead move.

The tires are not overinflated, they just have an "air containment issue"
