Headingly, Manitoba, Canada (07/19/17) – Ricky Weiss continued his hot streak at Red River Co-op Speedway in his Derrick’s Sandblasting #7 A.I.E. Communications/ Bloomquist Chassis Late Model by winning for the third time in four weeks on Thursday night.

Ricky Weiss kicked off an ultra-busy week of racing by entering the World of Outlaws Craftsman Late Model Series event at Ogilvie Raceway (Ogilvie, Minnesota) on Wednesday night. After passing two cars in his heat to place 4th, Weiss failed to make it out for the $8,000-to-win,40-lap A-Main after suffering issues with his water pump following his heat race.

On Thursday Weiss made the trip to Red River Co-op Speedway (Winnipeg, Manitoba) for the regular night of racing. Passing four cars in his 8-lap heat, Ricky posted a runner-up finish behind Mike Balcaen, earning him the 8th-starting position for the feature. Pacing his way to the front in the 20-lap affair, Ricky Weiss reeled in his fourth victory of the season over Shane Edginton, Bill Mooney, Shane Holden, and Walt Morris.

Back in action with World of Outlaws Craftsman Late Model Series, Weiss headed to River Cities Speedway (Grand Forks, North Dakota) on Friday for the Acme Tools 50. Following the sixth fastest time in his group, Ricky landed a 3rd-place finish in his heat race, positioning him 10th on the starting grid for the feature. With $10,000 on the line, Weiss slipped one spot to place 11th.

Saturday night brought Ricky to Greenbush Race Park (Greenbush, Minnesota) for the Northern Late Model Racing Association (NLRA) sanctioned program. Improving two positions in his heat race, Weiss scored a runner-up finish behind Brad Seng, locking him into the 5th-starting position for the feature. Bringing home a podium spot, Ricky jumped up three positions, recording a 2nd-place finish behind Brad Seng with Shane Edginton, Mike Balcaen, and Cole Schill completing the Top-5 finishers.

On Sunday Ricky hopped behind the wheel of the #36 Open Wheel Modified for the regular night of racing at ALH Motor Speedway (Morden, Manitoba). Starting the night with a heat race win, Weiss earned the 5th-starting spot for the 15-lap A-Main. Gaining one position, Ricky Weiss notched a 4th-place finish behind Jerome Guyot, Scott Greer, and Rene Poluyko with James Wall coming in 5th.
