i have a customer,s sbc block that im having trouble with the cam brgs , the cam bores are .030 smaller than stock , the only numbers on the block are HD-415 and 211032068038. I assume this is aftermarket block as there are no gm markings , any ideas?

Post some pics or post a link that we can see them. It might be an aftermarket block

i will check again in the morning and try to post some picks , a friend machinist told me he ran across a aftermarket block that you had to finish the cam journals to either roller brg or stock brgs , all the after mkt blocks ive dealt with were already done , but could be, thanks for the reply....
