Daniel Baggerly Sets Fast Time at Clary’s; Lands on Podium in Feature Event!
(CLARKSVILLE, VIRGINIA) The B&B Motorsports team rolled back through the pit gate at Clary's Motor Speedway in Brinkleyville, North Carolina on Saturday night, July 15 for a weekly Late Model program. Armed with a 525 motor, Daniel Baggerly out-qualified all of the bigger limited motors during the time trial session and earned Fast Time honors, along with the pole position for the $1,200 to win main event.
With track officials opting to water the racing surface prior to the feature, Daniel was at a major disadvantage against the higher horsepower motors, but he was still able to race towards the front throughout the event. After running second through much of the distance, "Bagz" held on to a strong third place podium effort behind only victor Hunter Bailey and runner-up Willie Milliken. With prior commitments keeping Daniel and his father / team owner Jim Baggerly busy in upcoming weeks, the #16 team plans to take the next two weekends off from racing action. However, they will be gearing up for a hectic month of August in which they will be in racing competition every weekend.
