Logan Roberson Parks It in Potomac Victory Lane; Battle of the Bay Next
Waynesboro, Virginia (07/24/17) – Over the weekend Logan Roberson kept his recent winning streak alive behind the wheel of his Wynbridge Inc. #17 Rocketman Racing/ XR1 Rocket Chassis Late Model. On Friday evening he made the popular visit to Victory Lane at Potomac Speedway.
Roberson opens his weekend on Friday evening with a visit to Potomac Speedway (Budds Creek, Maryland), powering his Wynbridge #17 entry against a field of 12 RUSH Crate Late Models. After starting the outing with a heat race victory, Roberson led every lap of the 20-circuit feature to capture his eighth win of the season. Darren Alvey, Matt Glanden, Ben Bowie, and Chuck Bowie completed the Top-5 finishers.
Saturday night took Roberson to Natural Bridge Speedway (Natural Bridge, Virginia) after wet conditions ruined his original plans. After setting the second-fastest time overall in a field of 17 cars, Mother Nature moved in before the feature was able to get underway, which brought an early end to the night.
“It felt like we’ve been trying to dodge Mother Nature a lot this year, and Saturday night she got us again,” Roberson laughed. “Luckily we got Friday night in and was able to grab that win. I think we had a real good chance at Natural Bridge Speedway too, but sometimes it just goes that way with the weather.”
