promoted by 4m. drama queen website hits push ad revenue far beyond what ever purse is offered.
if you haven't been there, you cannot appreciate the tightness of the racing. I was stunned at my first visit. not about how small the track was, but that late models could pass at all. I don't think any of them expect to go 100 laps and not get hit a time or two.
feger/pierce...babb/bloomquist.... whoever else shows up. they know what to expect. this is nascar restrictor plate racing. they all know it's likely to happen. they just hope it's to someone else.
the winner of my first visit: none other than "Bend your Steel" O'Neal. told me all I needed to know about the guy. he can wheel a race car. I swear they were working lapped traffic in within 10 laps. and he was incredible. other places I've seen him he has been frequently overcome by grand displays of attitude and road rage.
so bring it 4m. you need macon. and pierce. and bloomquist.
