Car Load Night Once Again Awaits CCSDS at Batesville this Friday Night
Batesville, Arkansas (07/31/17) – A great turnout of race fans converged on Batesville Motor Speedway by the carload last Friday night to see the COMP Cams Super Dirt Series (CCSDS) presented by Lucas Oil. Unfortunately, Mother Nature decided to not be a race fan, and rain nixed the program after qualifying.
As a result, the program has been rescheduled for this Friday, August 4.
As the COMP Cams Super Dirt Series prepares for its twelfth event of 2017 this Friday evening, Mooney Starr is offering $30 grandstand admission per carload. Whether you have 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, or any other creative number of people in your vehicle when you pull into the grandstand area, you will be charged a flat fee admission of $30 for your carload.
Midwest Sheet Metal Marked Man, Jack Sullivan continues to run off with the chase for the 2017 CCSDS title. The two-time and defending CCSDS champ now holds a 91-point advantage over his nearest competitor, which is Garrett Alberson. Kyle Beard, Zach McMillan, B.J. Robinson, Robert Baker, Gavin Landers, Tanner Kellick, Jon Mitchell, and Hunter Rasdon round out the Top 10 in the current standings.
Zack McMillan currently leads the Midwest Sheet Metal Rookie of the Year standings with Tanner Kellick four points back in second. Brandon Wilson rounds out the battle in third.
The CCSDS rolls into Mooney Starr’s Batesville Motor Speedway (Locust Grove, Arkansas) this Friday, August 4 for a $2,000-to-win/$350-to-start event. The event will start fresh with hot laps, qualifying, heat races, a b-main and the feature event.
Isle of Capri Points Series local divisions will also be on the evening’s card with IMCA Modifieds, IOC Street Stocks, Hobby Stocks, and Front Wheel Drives all on the program.
