Austin Hubbard Digs Deep for Delaware $3k Payday
Seaford, Delaware (07/31/17) – Austin Hubbard pushed his 2017-win total to four on Thursday evening in his Mid-Coastal Siding #11 Trinity Logistics/ Rocket XR1 Chassis/ Cornett Racing Engine Super Late Model as he claimed the $3,000 win at Delaware International Speedway.
“I’m really having a great time this year with this race team,” Hubbard said. “We’re not racing ourselves to death, and we’re just racing when and where we want to. Getting wins close to home is just the icing on the cake. Delaware International Speedway is a special place for me, so to get back to Victory Lane with so many friends and family there with us means a lot.”
Piloting the Trinity Logistics #11 Super Late Model, Austin Hubbard invaded Delaware International Speedway (Delmar, Delaware) on Thursday evening for the opening night of the Battle of the Bay. Posting a 2nd-place finish in his heat race behind Nick Davis, Austin earned the pole position for the A-Main via the redraw. Leading every circuit of the 35-lap feature, Hubbard topped Davis, Dale Hollidge, Ross Robinson, and Dylan Evans at the line to pick up his fourth win of the season and a $3,000 payday.
