This is crazy. 30+ drivers entered them selves and 15 were chosen to race a 10 or 12 laps race on Friday night. $2500 To Win and $1650 To Start and $28,150 for the 15 cars and there dropping like flies. Down to 10 drivers coming of the over 30 that entered. I hope the Fansfund adds Rodney Sanders, Jason Krohn, Nick Anvalink, and a couple other guys.

This has nothing to do with Cedar Lake, more about drivers not accepting $1650 To Start and $2600 to win for showing up.

I think the point is do not accept something 2 weeks ago and then back out last minute. It's unprofessional for a group is basically helping support your expenses to come this weekend.

What drivers are not coming that were selected?

Moyer Jr., McCreadie, G R Smith, Zobrist and many others voted in and declined right away or in the last week or two.

I always thought the fans entered the drivers not themselves. Besides as I have stated every year this thing comes up it is stupid that Moyer, McCreadie, etc. would be voted upon and get that money.

They said this year they had to call in to receive votes. They made a list of interested drivers before the voting started. Not sure about Moyer but he's not a Fansfund Car this year, JR was.

Things change. Moyer Jr posted he would not be going after he had a post looking for crew guys to go. A guy can't race these days without help. I'm thinking the Davenport announcement is why GR Smith dropped out. I'm sure they all have good reason for changing their minds.

Classic case of entitlement here. Guy is mad because a few drivers backed out so he takes to social media to complain. There's a lot of other guys who are here and it will be a great show. People like TUTY need to realize it's not cheap to race and these guys do a lot of traveling so they're not always going to be able to make it. This race pays 50K to win so there's always gonna be good cars and it's always a good race worth coming to no matter who's not here. If a race team backs out last second don't act like a kindergartner and cry about it. Act like an adult and realize that's how life goes and you still have something great right in front of you. Has someone ever asked you to be somewhere but you couldn't make it?

For TMac is makes perfect sense... he already hadn't been home in 3-4 weeks... and wouldn't have another off weekend until Oct 13-14

Both Moyers are always looking for help. Similar to Bloomquist. Is it just not there anymore in the area they live?

Just because he is not going to race in the fans fund race does not mean he will not race for the $50,000 to win. I hope and I believe that he will be there this weekend...

IF he is going to be there to race for the $50,000, then he would certainly race in the FansFund Race on Friday night.

Always 2 ways to read a statement Waaac77. The deal is $28,150 of FREE money there for up to over 30 guys that signed up for this and only 9 or 10 guys are coming. Nothing against a track or a driver or owner, just the fact that money doesn't matter... Basically $2000 to show up and at least $700 for Non-Qualifiers. Also a very good chance if u make the A-Main each night u will make over $5000 over the weekend. Very easy simple statement !!

I think Moyer Jr. is going to the Comp Cams race at Batesville still this weekend.

No, T-Mac will not be at Cedar Lake for 2 reasons (Family function this weekend and they are currently switching haulers)

Why is it stupid for Moyer or McCreadie to get FansFund money? both are not contract drivers which means they get ZERO travel money for WoO races

Now that makes more sense. T-Mac races for a living and he would not be giving up a chance to win some serious $$$ just to have a weekend off. Remember, he has WON this event in the past...

Any info on his new hauler?

They will be using Vic Coffey's hauler for the rest of the season, I think Vic's is a Featherlite but not 100% sure on that. Now as far as the future Carl Meyers owner of Sweeteners Plus is ordering Tim a new hauler.

Is he getting a newer nicer hauler?

I'll miss that old red sweetners rig.

Don't feel bad for Tuty, he got to see Michael Lake race.

Nice looking race car, then again he wasn't close enough to the leaders in his heat, B-main, or LCQ to get a scratch on it. In his defense, he's not the first young driver too look lost in their 1st trip to CL. Just ask Devin Moran.

And he didn't wreck anyone. Hope your happy. The track on Saturday was really good.
