Cory Hedgec ock Tops Chevy Super Series at 411 Motor Speedway
Loudon, Tennessee (08/09/17) –Cory Hedgec ock once again visited Victory Lane over the weekend in his Shadden Motorsports #9 Valley Transport/Rocket Chassis XR1/ Eagle Racing Engine Late Model.
After Friday night’s program was washed out by Mother Nature, Cory Hedgec ock traveled to 411 Motor Speedway (Seymour, Tennessee) on Saturday night for the Chevrolet Performance Super Late Model Series sanctioned contest. With 17 cars on hand for the Chevy Thunder Nationals, Hedgec ock secured the pole position for the feature after laying down the fastest time overall in qualifying. Leading flag-to-flag, Cory Hedgec ock cruised to his 22nd win of the season and a $3,000 payday in the 50-lapper. Michael Page, Jake Knowles, Austin Smith, and Oliver Gentry completed the Top 5 finishers.
“It’s no big secret that 411 Motor Speedway is one of my all-time favorite tracks, and once again it was really good to me on Saturday night,” Hedgec ock noted. “With this win the points are getting really tight for the title. Hopefully we can end the year on a strong note and win the rookie title and the overall championship. Thanks as always goes out to the Shadden family for the awesome opportunity they give me with this racecar.”

Cory will enter a single event this week as he makes the short trek to I-75 Raceway (Sweetwater, Tennessee) on Saturday night to compete in a Steel Head Late Model event.
