Jake Knowles Rolls to Another Podium Finish
Rome, Georgia (08/10/17) – Jake Knowles added another podium finish to his 2017 accolades on Saturday night in his Knowles Race Parts & Bodies #66 Brucebilt Performance Rocket Chassis Super Late Model.
“We dug ourselves a little bit of a hole in qualifying, but in the feature I had a great car,” Knowles said. “Our team keeps getting stronger and stronger. I want to thank everyone involved for all of their hard work.”
After Mother Nature wiped out the weekend opener at Volunteer Speedway (Bulls Gap, Tennessee) on Friday night, Jake Knowles visited 411 Motor Speedway (Seymour, Tennessee) on Saturday for the Chevrolet Performance Super Late Model Series sanctioned contest.
Drawing 17 cars for the Chevy Thunder Nationals, Knowles timed in ninth fastest in qualifying, locking him into the ninth-starting spot for the $3,000-To-Win A-Main. Passing six cars in the 50-lap affair, Jake reeled in a 3rd-place finish behind Cory Hedgec ock and Michael Page with Austin Smith and Oliver Gentry completing the Top-5 finishers.
Jake is currently fourth in the latest Chevrolet Performance Super Late Model Series standings.

The team will not be in action this weekend as Jake will be enjoying a vacation. Knowles is tentatively slated to return to action on August 18 at Crossville Speedway (Crossville, Tennessee) with an ULTIMATE Super Late Model Series event.
