Brucebilt Iron-Man Modified Series will make up 411 Motor Speedway Event on September 9th

SOMERSET, KY (August 14, 2017)—After the Saturday August 12th rainout at 411 Motor Speedway, the Brucebilt Performance Iron-Man Modified Series will make up the entire event on Saturday September 9th paying $1,200-to-win and $125-to-start.

A stout field of twenty-two cars entered the event before late afternoon rains plus an 11:00 pm curfew didn’t allow enough time to prepare the racing surface properly. Series officials appreciate the hard work by track crews to try and get the event in and look forward to returning to the Mitch McCarter-owned facility for the September 9 and November 25 events.

Pit passes and grandstand tickets from the August 12 rainout can be used for this event on September 9 or the series finale event at 411 Motor Speedway on November 25. Entry fees from August 12 can also be used at any remaining events on the 2017 series schedule.

The next events for the Brucebilt Performance Iron-Man Modified Series will be Labor Day weekend as the tour makes a lone season visit to Crossville Speedway in Crossville, Tenn. for a 25-lap $1,200-to-win event on Friday Night September 1st. The tour will then visit Lake Cumberland Speedway in Burnside, Ky. for the 20-lap Harold Hardgrove Memorial on Saturday Night September 2nd paying $1,000-to-win followed by a visit to Tazewell Speedway in Tazewell, Tenn. on Sunday Night September 3rd paying $1,000-to-win during the 20-lap Buddy Rogers Memorial.

Modified drivers entered at 411 Motor Speedway before the rainout: Don Adams, Blake Brown, Amos Bunch, Steve Clark, Jimmy Dalton, Dustin Diden, Shon Flanary, Brad Hall, Jeff Hamby, Matthew Hopper, Terry James, Wayne James, Chase King, Brian Markham, Matt Markham, Clayton Miller, Jamie Mosley, Billy Palmer, Jody Puckett, Don Scalf, Cody Smith and Ervin Vance.
