Incredible racing from 3-8 Marlar Overton and Buckingham were 3 wide a one point battling for 4th.

McDowell had them covered most of the night but a lot of strong cars went out in this one. Dakotah Knuckles another impressive run this young man. Ross Bailes in the Barry Wright house car had a good run. Vic was coming but just ran out of laps

Big names had bad nights for the most part. Bailes had a very nice debut.

That changed quick! How's the racing?

The racing was great tonight through the field. McDowell had the car to beat though. Thank you to the McCarter family excellent track prep. 2 and 3 wide racing all over the track and still very fast too. If Overton and Marlar had not gone out I think both of them could have given McDowell a run for his money. I'll give credit to Ross Bailes he was right there all race just didn't have enough to pass McDaddy.

Bailes always runs like that. Im suprised he ran that well in that car. They must have made some big adjustments in last 3 wks.

you mean adjustments like changed the seat and wrap? First time he practiced it was the same week JD quit and no changes made...they didn't even wash it from the Wytheville race. Bailes liked it the way JD left it....just got in it and drove itExcept Bailes did say he brought he own engine with him. No more Hatfield in the BWRC

A very impressive run by Bailes. Don't know if they changed anything on the car but it sure turned well. He pretty much ran even with Dale for most of the race.
Heartbreak for Overton. He was pretty fast. Congrats to McDowell.
