I heard his father past away. Does anyone have any info on that.. thanx Yes, Rick Briggs Passed on Friday evening. He was quite the wheelman in his day. 1 year in the modified that he was racing at the time he won 13 of the 15 races he ran at Stateline Speedway! It is said that he actually won the 14th by a half a car but the promoter figured that he had won enough that year and he gave the win to the other driver. The late models he ran were always among the sharpest looking cars around the area.
