CROSSVILLE, TN – August 31, 2017 – The Brucebilt Performance Iron-Man Modified Series was set to kick off a Labor Day weekend tripleheader of racing action at Crossville Speedway in Crossville, TN on Friday evening, but anticipated heavy rains resulting from the remnants of Hurricane Harvey has prompted track and series officials to postpone the event to Friday September 22.
The postponement of this event sets up a doubleheader of great Brucebilt Performance Iron-Man Modified Series action in the Volunteer State as Crossville Speedway will now host the tour on Friday September 22, racing for $1,200 to win. The following evening, Saturday September 23, the Iron-Man Mod Squad is set to visit Smoky Mountain Speedway in Maryville, TN for a $1,500 to win event. The Schaeffer’s Oil Iron-Man Championship Late Model Series will also be in action at Smoky Mountain Speedway on September 23, racing for $5,000 to win.
