Doing good PC, and yes, its always good to see drivers who raced there in the past like Birky, Brady, Darren, and some of Nascrap's finest like Schrader, Newman, and Stewart

And Maestro, I am inclined to agree with you because in the last ten years there have been ten different winners which to me is pretty remarkable, so remarkable it would make ol Pete Rozelle stand up and cheer the " parity " of it all.......no clear cut favorite which is why Knoxville is my favorite all time track

And to follow up on the 10 winners in 10 years Maestro, remember when T-Mac won on the last lap which was best described in one of the local papers this way back in 2008

McCreadie had just taken the white flag, so the caution set up a green, white, checkered finish.

McCreadie took off with the lead on the green, but Richards passed him coming to the white flag and took the lead momentarily. McCreadie raced him down the backstretch, roared out of turn four and came out with the lead under the checkered flag.

Well, judge for yourself and check this link out, suffice it to say, Owens, Richards, VanWormer, and especially T-Mac didn't have anything good to say about him after the race, he very easily could have caused T-Mac to lose this race between turns 1 and 2

will miss this race for the first time as we moved my racing companion father to hospice this week. so many memories from the first 13 years. pay per view likely for the weekend.

big stewart in nascar fan, but oh how I was irritated with his willingness to destroy others equipment when on dirt. thought TMac was incredibly forgiving in victory lane.

Yeah klemm, I'm flying out tonight to be there, I never know these days now that I'm 69 if I will ever make it back so I do my best to enjoy every minute of the place that I can. Like I said, Knoxville is my favorite place to be when it comes to DLM racing. Hope your father is at peace but the memories will always be there for the two of ya' ! Best of wishes to him and you !

And I agree with ya', I liked Tony early on in his career only because of his affiliation to A.J. whom I liked back in the 60's, but man, that guy changed and I couldn't understand why. His attitude and his mishaps and controversies just seemed to be mounting up against him. And that craziness he initiated at Knoxville that night really changed my opinion of him, there was no call or cause to that sh*t.

Anyway, be with your Dad, enjoy him while he's here, and I'll be thinkin' of ya' !

I think it was Monday. Outside of Eldora, it seems guys don't pre enter for events anymore. Especially if it doesn't save them any money. McCreadie isn't on the list either.

As I look at the list of top 24 average finishes for drivers over the last 10 years, it's interesting that only 5 out of the 24 have been in all 10 main events: Moyer, Bloomer, Babb, Francis, Mars.

First off, that's a great accomplishment to make 10 straight A-mains at Kville. However, it also points out the parity at the front of the field in those races. That's one of the reasons Knoxville is a great racetrack.
