Logan Roberson Wins at Winchester; VMS Biggie Up Next

Waynesboro, Virginia (09/12/17) – Logan Roberson continued his winning ways over the weekend in his Wynbridge Inc. #17 BTS Towing Service/ Rocketman Racing/ XR1 Rocket Chassis Late Model.

Saturday night found him visiting Victory Lane at Winchester Speedway.

On Friday night Logan Roberson traveled to Winchester Speedway (Winchester, Virginia) to compete in the opening round of the two-day Winchester 200. Roberson would surge to the lead in the Limited Late Model feature before bad luck struck as he backed his #17 into the wall. Logan was ultimately credited with a 12th-place finish in the 20-lapper.

The following night with 21 Crate Late Models on hand for the second night of the Winchester 200, Logan started the night with a heat race win, which sent him into the redraw. Receiving the 2nd-starting position for the finale, Roberson jumped into the lead at the drop of the green flag and never let go of the top spot en route to his 14th win of the season. Levi Crowl, Joey McClung, Kyle Lee, and Mike Franklin completed the Top-5 finishers.

Sunday brought Logan to Natural Bridge Speedway (Natural Bridge, Virginia, where he again took his Crate Late Model into battle in the Limited Late Model feature. After qualifying ninth fastest in a field of 19 entries, Roberson posted an 11th-place finish in the A-Main.

“Saturday night was a great night for us, but the rest of the weekend I struggled against the Limited Late Models,” Roberson said. “I just couldn’t seem to get things headed in the right direction. We’ll take the win though and head to Virginia Motor Speedway this weekend as we prepare to chase some big money.”
