Cory Hedgec ock Earns #24; VMS Up Next
Loudon, Tennessee (09/12/17) – With his original weekend plans preempted by Hurricane Irma, Cory Hedgec ock piloted his Cushman #23 Valley Transport/ Rocket Chassis XR1 Crate Late Model into battle on Saturday night at 411 Motor Speedway.
The decision would prove to be a good one as he registered his 24th win of the 2017 campaign.
After both of the NeSmith Chevrolet Dirt Late Model Series sanctioned events slated for Friday and Saturday were postponed, Cory Hedge(not a nice word)(not a nice word)(not a nice word)(not a nice word) made the decision to visit 411 Motor Speedway (Seymour, Tennessee) on Saturday night.
He competed in the Steelhead Late Model division.
After laying down the third-fastest lap in qualifying, Cory outran the 15-car field in the 30-lap feature to record his 24th win of the season. Jason Cardwell, Chase King, Trevor Sise, and Michael Courtney completed the Top-5 finishers.
“First and foremost our team’s thoughts and prayers go out to everyone affected by Hurricane Irma this past week,” Hedgec ock commented. “With the NeSmith Late Model Series events postponed by the terrible weather, we decided to head to one of our favorite tracks – 411 Motor Speedway. It was a great night for our team, and we are set to take our A-game to Virginia Motor Speedway this weekend.”

This Saturday, September 16 Cory will go into battle in the FASTRAK Pro Late Model World Championship at Virginia Motor Speedway (Jamaica, Virginia). A $20,000 winner’s check is on the line for the victor of the 60-lap finale.
