Would JD be moving to Arkansas to work on the cars or does the Landers team have a high quality crew so JD would just show up and drive?

I doubt he moves to Arkansas. I think relocation was part of the reason he skipped out on the Randy Weaver ride.

Bloomer cars is problem. Jd has to much success in xr1 and horns. I think keeping there cars would b setback and he would have to work w his competitor and that would cause problems in more ways than 1. Idk on the shop relocation deal. I think that has to be worked out yet. This xr1 ride might have him thinking twice right bout now unless rumley comes along. Alot of pieces to the puzzle at this point that have to be answered

This Landers deal makes no sense whatsoever. Rumley and JD are not relocating. Landers cars, Jared, his dad and brother. The cars, the names have rarely been seen. If Richards has anything to do with it, he will be in a rocket next year.

A lot of speculation for a ''regional racer at best'' that ''can't win without a device''. Don't forget that Baird has been around JD for awhile of and on as a sponsor. To be such an average driver according to some geniuses on here he sure has a lot of options.LOL

He did well in a Bloomquist car before. Maybe a collaboration is in the works,
Bloomquist chassis/Landers Resources/Rumley Smarts/Davenport Talent = record breaking year...
Very interesting. The argument that he's had too much success in XR1 to leave it holds no water, he only has like 4 wins in Rockets all total. JD has wins in Rayburns, Barry Wrights, Bloomquist, Longhorns and Rocket, Rocket being the least successful just the most recent.

I would say moving Landers operations east or JD and Rumley west, would be hard.

Smith should have some advantage in getting major sponsorship with JD and Rumley and a chance to make history like in 2015. It's a better bet than most. It would be a guess, but I'd say they go to speed weeks and raise their flag and see who salutes. That is what most, that aren't committed to a series do. Of course they may not even be interested in running a series. There is a lot to be said about racing where and when you want. Do they make a Bird to English pocket translator?

The one fly I see in the ointment for sure is that Kevin is married now and has a day job... Kinda hard to chase a national series full time and hold down a day job and keep the wife happy. Guess we'll see, maybe Landers will put up the money to get Barry back involved, now that we know the car was NOT the issue. Time will tell, you never know somebody could get their feelings hurt and nothing ever come of it.

Things can always change, but as of now the plan is JD back following the Lucas tour. For how the season started, JD is in a position most never thought he'd be heading into off-season. He has options and very good ones at that. 🤙

That's cool if it works out, no idea what work he's doing other than occasional consultant deal. I'd heard he might go back to CV at one point but with his street credit he could probably do most anything around dirt. I admire him immensely for being able to think outside the box in an age of snowflake socialism and group think. Pity UDLMC? couldn't see its or his value.

What about Texas Motor Speedway dirt track? They almost never have events there. They haven't had a big late model race since about 2001. What was the point in building the place?

Boom already went to Lucas for this season. If I had to guess a current regular, I'd go with Morgan Bagley or Frankie Heckenast. I could see ether of them switching to be closer to the king of the Club.

Frankie is dropping back to a more regional schedule for next year I believe. He said last year he wanted to try the outlaw deal for 3 years, and come back home again to run for a couple.

This would make his 3rd year on tour.
