Bryan Bernheisel Bags Pair of Weekend Wins; Winchester Next

Jonestown, Pennsylvania (09/19/17) – Bryan Bernheisel enjoyed an exceptional weekend behind the wheel of his Dieffenbach’s Kettle Chips #119 Lazer Chassis Late Model.

The Pennsylvania racer visited Victory Lane on two occasions in the Steel Block Late Model division.

“It was an awesome weekend for our team,” Bernheisel said. “Really the only snag was getting caught up in a little melee to start the heat race at Path Valley Speedway, but even then we were able to bounce back quickly. Our car was flawless from the time that we unloaded. It just goes to show how hard this team works. I want to thank them and all of my great sponsors for their support.”

Friday night found Bryan Bernheisel in action at Path Valley Speedway (Spring Run, Pennsylvania), competing in a field of 13 Steel Block Late Models. After being collected in a wreck on the opening lap of his heat race, Bernheisel rallied from the tail of the field to place third.

Earning the second-starting position for the feature after the redraw, Bryan took over the lead on the second lap and held off the field for the remaining 18 circuits to capture sixth win of the season. Robbie Emory, Ryan Walls, Bob Dunn, and Brad McGinnis completed the Top-5 finishers.

The following night brought Bernheisel to Lincoln Speedway (Abbottstown, Pennsylvania), where he started the night with a heat race victory from the fifth-starting position. Receiving the pole position for the feature, Bryan jumped into the lead on the opening lap and led from flag-to-flag registering his seventh win of the season. Gene Knaub, Bobby Beard, Cam Zeigler, and Robbie Emory competed the Top-5 finishers in the 20-lap affair.
