Conley Motorsports, Inc. Gears Up for Visits to Pair of Buckeye State Ovals this Weekend

(WHEELERSBURG, OHIO) The Conley Motorsports, Inc. (CMI) teams went separate directions and entered Super Late Model events in the states of Indiana, West Virginia, and Ohio over the September 22-23 weekend. R.J. Conley invaded the legendary Brownstown Speedway in Brownstown, Indiana for the 38th Annual 'Jackson 100,' which was sanctioned by the Lucas Oil Late Model Dirt Series. On Friday night in the $7,000 to win weekend opener, R.J. ran fourth in his loaded heat race prior to placing fifteenth in the final rundown of the 30-lap sprint. In Saturday's $15,000 to win 'Jackson 100,' the Wheelersburg, Ohio ace grabbed the fourth and final transfer spot through his heat race and later wound up being paid for seventeenth at the pay window following the 100-lapper.

Rod Conley headed to Ohio Valley Speedway in Lubeck, West Virginia on Saturday evening for the unsanctioned 'Gibby's King Championship,' which boasted a $5,000 payday. "Hot Rod" finished second in his heat race and was running in the top five late in the feature distance before a skirmish with another competitor dropped his #71r to twelfth in the final finishing order. Delmas Conley - the patriarch of the racing Conley family - was in the pit area at Atomic Speedway in Alma, Ohio for a weekly Super Late Model show that paid $2,000 to the winner. Delmas won his heat race and led early in the 25-lap main event before a flat tire relegated him to a disappointing twentieth place effort. Full results from all three racetracks can be viewed by clicking on www.lucasdirt.com, www.ohiovalleyspeedway.com, and www.atomicspeedway.net.

Two CMI drivers will now turn their focus to the annual running of the ‘Jim Dunn Memorial,’ as brothers Rod and R.J. Conley will vie for the $12,000 top prize on Saturday evening, September 30 at Midway Speedway in Crooksville, Ohio. Delmas Conley will instead head back to Atomic Speedway in Alma, Ohio for another $2,000 to win weekly Super Late Model contest on Saturday. Additional information on both Buckeye State facilities can be found by accessing www.atomicspeedway.net and the Midway Speedway Facebook page.
