Didn't find driver list for ppms or woulda taken Sheppard or covert. Covert very good in PA and Sheppard has one of best rides & knowledge.

...and once again the #1 driver in the country fails to compete for the win when running against the top drivers in the country. But I guess if Max Blair is a top 25 driver then quality of competition doesn't matter to the guys that vote for DoD.

So very, very true. It's just a shame that since DoD carries so much clout that the voting doesn't more accurately reflect reality.

Yep, you are right. Richards only gained 20 points on TMAC tonight so Timmy must be leading Josh by 40 and I believe he gained 60 on Bloomer so he should be 75 up on Bloomer...

Its all good as long as timmy gaining points. He really needs this title. This longhorn deal is the best thing that has happend for his racing carear. Hes in a tough battle and hes battling back w a lil bit of luck on his side.
Hope he does well in his BB MOD race in oswego tomarrow!

They both ran Cornets at The World, Knoxville and I *think* at Dixie and Rome last week. Other times they have run Clements. Last night I heard Essex say one of them was running a Clements.

Why get worked up about it? It's a poll -- like NCAA football or basketball. Or the NFL, MLB, NHL or NBA power rankings. It's just a sometimes accurate gauge. It doesn't determine a champion. Sheppard is as worthy as anyone else right now. He's proven for a few years now he can beat anyone on any given night. Who would you have at #1? And where would you put Sheppard?

I don’t know that he choked. I think he probably set the car up and prepare for the slick, but the track was heavy and WFO all weekend.

He qualified crappy and got pretty lucky in his heat to even transfer. The wreck hurt his chances, yeah, but I think it was just kind of a lost weekend for him. It happens to everybody once in a while. Couldn’t have come at worse time.

Bloomer ran every lap on the bottom - while everyone else ran the upper groove and passed Bloomer. Upper was definitely better.
