Tyler Clem Visits Victory Lane in Modified Action at BRP
St. Petersburg, Florida (10/23/17) – 15-year-old, Tyler Clem returned to Victory Lane over the weekend. He piloted his Sunoco Race Fuels #14 Larry Shaw Modified to the win at Bubba Raceway Park on Saturday night.
“Even though I started almost last in the feature, I had a great car and that allowed me to race to the lead,” Clem said. This gives us some really good notes for the upcoming Reutimann Memorial, so I’m really excited for that event. Thanks as always goes out to all my sponsors and everyone who supports my team.”
Powering the Hedman Hedders #14 Open Wheel Modified, Tyler Clem made the short trip to Bubba Raceway Park (Ocala, Florida) on Saturday for the regular night of racing. Improving one spot in his heat, Clem posted a fifth-place finish, positioning him 10th on the starting grid for the feature.
After wheeling his way into the Top 5 early in the finale, Clem took over the lead on lap 18 and held off the field in the remaining distance to register his seventh win of the season. Austin Sanders, Phillip Cobb, Roger Crouse, and Dustin Thayer completed the Top-5 finishers.
