Donald McIntosh Tops SNBS Action at Blue Ridge Motorsports Park
Dawsonville, Georgia (10/23/17) – Donald McIntosh pocked a cool $4,000 payday on Saturday night behind the wheel of his Blount Motorsports #7 XR1 Rocket Chassis/ Vic Hill Racing Engine Super Late Model at Georgia’s Blue Ridge Motorsports Park.
“I’ve never been here (Blue Ridge Motorsports Park), but this is a racy track,” McIntosh commented. “It’s been an awesome three years with Blount Motorsports, and even though are time together is almost over, it just shows that all of our team is still working hard to get wins. I’m really excited about this win, and this whole team deserves it.”
Following the Schaeffer Oil Southern Nationals Bonus Series, Donald McIntosh made trek to Blue Ridge Motorsports Park (Blue Ridge, Georgia) on Saturday night, competing in a field of 29 Super Late Models.
Laying down the third fastest time in qualifying, McIntosh earned the 3rd-starting position for the A-Main. Overtaking Ray Cook on lap 6, Donald held the top spot throughout the caution-plagued feature capturing his seventh win of the season and a $4,000 payday. Kurt English, J.T. Seawright, Ray Cook, and David Payne completed the Top 5 finishers in the 40-lap affair.
With only two races remaining on the Schaeffer’s Oil Southern Nationals Bonus Series slate, Donald has a commanding lead in the series standings.

Schaeffer’s Oil SNBS competition will take Donald to Senoia Raceway (Senoia, Georgia) this weekend. Friday night will see an unsanctioned $3,000-to-win affair, while Saturday will see the Schaeffer’s Oil SNBS sanctioning a $7,500-to-win finale.
