Drivers led by Moyer and Clanton. Prices are jacked up to control the crowd!! A somewhat joke that we say often! Hope the weather improves, maybe a Sunday afternoon race?! I'll probably be there anyway, but many of my group will not be!

We went to the WoO show at Senoia back in the summer. The grandstands were not even close to full. We heard local people all around us saying they personally knew of fans who stayed home because of the prices. This is the only track I've been to in probably 20 years in which the biggest events don't fill the bleachers. And it's because of the admission prices. The facility is lacking also, but ... the track itself is awesome. Always racey from the very top to the very bottom. If they ever find someone to run the place the way it should be ran, Senoia would be one of the nicest racing venues around. But at this point, they just continue to turn fans off with these silly admission prices.

If they're trying to control the crowd they're succeeding with me. Too much for my wallet.

Weren't they charging $10 or so more for a WoO or Lucas event than the average at other events

weatherman85

Yes. $35 this year for their WoO show if I'm not mistaken.

So basically 25 for a 3k to win super show Friday plus tons of lower classes. ...Naw!!!

I don’t mind the prices for adults , but pricing on Kids is bad business !!!!!! If I ran a track, I would want every young person I could get to be there!!!!They are the future of racing

I think for weekly shows, 12 and under should be free, grandstands and pits. Any and all Special events, 6-12 should be no more than the local movie theater matinee price, usually around 7 bucks. 5 and under still free.

I’m beyond done with EAMS. I’d rather drive to Montana for a $200.00 to win front wheel drive weekly show.

Yes it was $35 for the WOO show. WOO also set the ticket prices for that weekend.
Senoia did not.

Kids under 12 should be free everywhere, but Senoia is $5 for a 5 year old kid for a weekly show! I've talked to the older Massey & it's basically pay or don't come! It's a shame!

champion24

I'll guess 80 cars here for 7 classes tonight. How many did the weather keep away?

It's gonna work now! 25ish supers. Moyer, Clanton, Page, Roberts, etc.

It does a man good to see cars 3 & 4 wide on a fall Thursday night, even if it's just practice! Beats football! Outside of the Senoia regulars were r1 Hickman, b1 Larson, 1c Collins, 2 Coulter, 7 McIntosh, 21 Moyer, 29 Welshan, 31 Millwood, 41 Reid, 101 Roberts and others. All unofficial, of course! I did hear that 41 Reid was fastest at some point. Earl Pearson, actually just one of his old cars, was there too!

10-26-2017, 10:09 PM
I did hear that the track is trying to get the curfew extended or changed. Swveral versions of when they could race. I briefly saw the younger Mr. Massey, then he was gone! Maybe the weather will work with us for a change! Probably 80 folks in the stands getting a dose of racing fuel tonight too.

champion24
10-26-2017, 10:14 PM
Also, no Davenport, McDowell, Cook and maybe others that were supposedly gonna be there. No one probably got paid to show up at least this year! Solid field and even more should show up Friday and Saturday!

36 supers. 41 Reid fastest in HL. 15.0 I think. Yall can help & update exacts more from home! It's slick. Better crowd in stands.

Super group B 25 Clanton, 7 McIntosh, 2 Coulter. B1 Larson was in top 6. Consis soon, supposedly!

Clanton was fast on the first lap & almost walled it on the second. Moved up the super program to get it in. One lower heat took a while & only got 4 laps. Wind has picked up & in our faces.

Super consi 1 to 85 Cat over 53 Cook. Took 6 cars. 7 Fitzgerald was 3rd or 4th.

champion24
10-27-2017, 10:27 PM
Super consi 2 to 29 Welshan over 101 Roberts,87 Arthur, 17 Williams. This place drives us nuts at times, but it is a racy joint! Crate then super features.

champion24
10-27-2017, 11:16 PM
Page won super feature over Clanton & McIntosh. Solid racing in the pack. 25 ran him down some in traffic, but 18x had them covered.

Somehow I didn't post that Page doubled up & won crate too. It was better than the super race. Rain is moving through, so we should race today. Total separate show for supers, so maybe some new cars! I left early last night, so I'm not sure what they didn't get done. May be some heats and consis for lower classes too.

Look at their FB page. Says the features for all the other classes will be ran Dec 2nd. The $10,000 Super race will not be made up.

Sucks for the people that paid $25 for a $3,000 to win race on Friday.

If they are going to use the Ray Cook race in the Spring for the make up, will our tickets & pit passes still be good for that date?

Looks like we heading toward a screw job on tickets for this race form either the Massey's or Ray Cook!!

Ray and the Massey’s don’t seem to be the type to screw anyone. But I guess actions speak louder than words???? Hope they make things right for all the people that didn’t have the weather channel.

The fans got hosed. But hey. Every fan has a radar on their phone these days and probably their local tv station weather app. Screwed their self then let the track screw em. ....that wristband race next spring. Watch the non wristband fans have to pay 30 plus.

The tickets/armbands for this weekend's rainout were told they would be honored at the Dec 2nd event or one of the Spring Nationals evens coming in March 2018. More info will be posted on the track website and facebook page soon.
