No dog in this fight but some suggestions:

1. Not sure how your going to enforce or determine the year of the car, what about an updated chassis to 2018 but is a 2014?

2. Define superlite hubs? remember most likely participants are going to be buying used cars so whatever is semi standard on a super now should be allowed so they don't have to buy more stuff

3. Define low drag rear ends? 8" ring gear stuff or just something with low drag seals also. refer to later part of #2

4. Many used cars are going to have gun drilled axles, how about no exotic material here instead

5. Define light or low drag trans? Maybe only gen 1 berts, brinns, and etc.

6. Shocks - clear up sealed or oil shock, sounds like you can use a take apart oil shock but if gas needs to be sealed

Just some things off the top of my head

Forgot the biggie to me! Nothing was listed as a tire rule?

Put the cars on a hard tire or even narrower tire, so it's not 5hp go cart racing. less then 400HP on a big softer tire doesn't make for that great of racing most of the time.

tire rules, there pretty much a hot mess to...

Left front, right front and left rear can be Hoosier spec 1350, American racer pro2, Hoosier ft200 or crate USA 21....no grooving, regrooving or siping permitted And no steer tires........right rear must be Hoosier spec 1600, American racer pro3, Hoosier ft400 or crate USA 55....grooving and siping permitted on right rear only.....buffing is permitted on all tires but absolutely no soaking....tires are subject to be checked at anytime! This will allow any cars that want to run to be competitive, no matter which tires they have, without making them buy a certain tire

billetBC sposed be standerd plan jane bert/brinn/falcon trans non ball spline. you right on chassis year and updates sure gonna be a hot topic in tech shed! no 8 inch light weight low inertia parts,..just your basic Q/C ! shocks sposed be basic afco blues, i need a crash corse on shocks for dummys for i can discuss them cause i just really dont know...DWB

As far as the shock issue, Bilstein has a sealed crate specific shock available,I believe they are in the $135 range. Going to a spec shock would eliminate a lot of tech headaches. 10 different valving s available, so if you bought all 10 you would have $1350 in shocks. You can spend more than that on 1 double adjustable shock in today's market.

Here is a link with info. http://www.stlracing.com/community/index.php?threads/the-135-bilstein-spec-shocks-now-available-to-everyone.186997/

i kind of figured that DWB , but there is a lot of difference between a 2 stage and a bump stop , the only way to have a class like this is to remove all the grey areas in the rules to begin with , because most races are won inside those grey areas .......

you right,..i like gray areas, only way under budgeted teams have a chance! rules cloudy as can be,..tech really ant happening less a protest,..tire sample dose happen biggest thing really! can ride hour and half farther but its same song n dance! limited funds will no doubt keep me at home track mostly...i like following rules but wanta keep up, see how things look come march!
