Loudon, Tennessee (10/30/17) – Cory Hedgec ock added another “W” to the win column on Sunday evening by taking his Shadden Motorsports #9 Valley Transport/ Rocket Chassis XR1 Steel Head Late Model to Victory Lane.

The triumph came during the Craig Reece Memorial festivities at Boyd’s Speedway (Ringgold, Georgia) and marked his 26th victory of 2017. It also was the 99th win of his career.

After Mother Nature shifted the program back a day, Cory Hedgec ock traveled to Boyd’s Speedway (Ringgold, Georgia) on Sunday evening, pulling double duty during the Craig Reece Memorial.

Recording the 10th-fastest time in a field of 35 Crate Late Models, Hedgec ock streaked to a heat race victory, earning him the 10th-starting position for the feature. With $3,500 on the line, Cory jumped up one spot, registering a 9th-place finish.

Laying down the fastest time overall in a field of 19 Steel Head Late Models, Hedgec ock earned the pole position for the feature. Leading from wire-to-wire, Cory Hedgec ock cruised to his 26th win of the season. Zach Pilcher, Justin Litchford, Kevin Gibson, and Andy Miller.

“Mother Nature may have backed us up a day, but it definitely didn’t slow us down any,” Hedgec ock said. “We came out with guns blazing in the Steel Head Late Model, but we just dug ourselves a bit of a hole in qualifying in the Crate Late Model. We’ll take a win and a ninth-place finish though. It was a great outing for our team, and hopefully we can pick up $10,000 this weekend at Southern Raceway.”
