A lot of drivers from my area going. Tyler and Freddie Carpenter, Tim Dohm, Tim Senic, Craig Wolford, Drake Meeks. That's a pretty good haul out there.

I can't wait. Glad we are making the trip this year. It'll be pretty cool to race against and also watch guys we never see from other states. I'm making a prediction now. We will NOT see a repeat winner this year. JMO

People watch races at tracks like Macon and Belle Clair all the time and don't complain about it. I've heard great things. They are not too much faster. The A feature last season looked pretty good too. If you can put on a show I don't care if you are going 40mph. Just my .02

Absolutely agree.......I watch bubbles racing down the drain.

I enjoy the sport of racing itself......some more than others, but basically any kind.

For me falls somewhere in between figure 8 racing and barrel jumping.......ill watch it , and enjoy it when I'm in the mood.

The gateway event is just a cool undertaking , that nobody ever thought could be pulled off.

Well, almost nobody.

I like it when there running a 100 mph battling for the lead or when they break the track record 6 times in qualifying or when they swap the lead 3 or 4 times in the first few laps of the feature that's racing I don't know what you call that in St. Louis. Now if you ain't never been to a race like this come on I'll take you with me.

I'm not sure who all on here went to gateway last year, vs who didn't, but if u didn't think that Friday night feature was one of the top 5 races of the year then your insane and should immediately quit watching racing! It doesn't matter the speed, as long as all of the cars r half even it makes a good show. Have our tickets and hotels ready, just waiting to hit the road!

It didn't pay worth a d@mn, which has been fixed. Have we ever drivers smile that big after a race? I dont recall it. Take Lanigan for instance. That dude was grinning ear to ear after the Friday night show, and we rarely see that cat smile even after a win, and he ran 3rd.

I personally thought it was awesome. Then again, im not a speed freak either.

All I know is if you call that racing you ain't been to a real care race.Right. You’re going to tell us what is and isn’t racing. Because you’re Bill France, Lanny Edwards, Rex Robbins, Robert Smawley, etc. If you aren’t Litey, you’re his brother or cousin.

About time for Litey to come back on here and start promoting his home town race again!!!

They may refer to it as Watergateway after it's all over. hahahahahahaa
