World finals track surface

I wonder how the new surface is going to hold up this weekend. I heard they put new clay down and changed the degree in the turns. How much different from old surface that i dnt know.

It held up great last weekend during the One dirt short track championship...Not quite as harsh on tires either...It turned black but was a good track..328 cars raced on it for 3 days....you tube the races and you can see how it held up..

Thats good to hear. A couple drivers from my area went down a few years ago, and compared the tire wear to east bay.
