Morgan Bagley Finishes Fifth in Fall Classic; World Finals Next

Longview, Texas (11/01/17) – Texas racer, Morgan Bagley continued his late-season surge by piloting his P&W Sales #14m M&M Painting & Construction/ Black Diamond by Club 29/ Clements Racing Engine Super Late Model to a fifth-place finish in the annual Fall Classic.

“We’ve been fighting tooth and nail all season, and it’s finally starting to show here late in the year,” Bagley said. “We had a good car all weekend, and honestly maybe had an even car than the finish showed on Saturday night, but the track took rubber in the second half of the race.

“We’ll head to Charlotte this weekend and try to have two more good runs and pick up a few more spots in the final Outlaws points.”

Morgan Bagley made the trek to Whynot Motorsports Park (Meridian, Mississippi) on Friday evening, where preliminary action was contested for the 23rd annual Coors Light Fall Classic.

With 42 Super Late Models on hand for the unsanctioned weekend, Bagley followed up the eighth-fastest time in his qualifying group with a runner-up finish in his heat behind Ross Bailes.

Rolling off the grid eighth for the $15,000-to-win A-Main on Saturday night, Morgan improved three spots in the 100-laper registering a fifth-place finish behind Scott Bloomquist, Brandon Overton, Dennis Erb Jr., and Chris Simpson.
