When using a wheel spacer - ex: 2" on left rear - do you add turns to the spring or not -- i have heard both -- thanks in advance

It depends on what you want to accomplish. No right or wrong answer otherwise. The track width adjustment, wheel rate change, static wedge change all do things to the car.

^^^ For example, I know a kid that starts the night off with a LR spacer (1", not 2"), then takes it off in the slick to put more bite in the car. Seems backwards from all logic that I've been told, but he runs real good.

What that kid does would put the left rear tire closer to the center of gravity laterally loading it more on forward acceleration, it would reduce the turning radius of the steer in the rear end, but also would offset the drive angle, not sure which one would be more prominent off hand, and with reduced track width in the rear it would load the RR on entry and help side bite.
