I was told this past Monday that someone is leasing the track for 2018. It's the guy that once owned the track in Atwood, TN. Plans for an April start. Again this is what I was told. I have nothing to back that up. Bob has told me countless times that the track is still for sale.

Bad place for LM regular races. All classes for that matter.

That was rude!!!

Just being honest. Look up car counts. Not many tracks in that area, thus not many cars either. Got any suggestions on how to change that. KLMS tried, but see what they got in car counts also.

I'd love to see PIR open and thriving but dirt racing is on life support in western Tennesse, western Kentucky, southeast Missouri and extreme southern Illinois. Those are the areas PIR draws cars from and there just aren't many.

The way the press release read their wont be weekly late models but they plan to have some late model shows. Hope we get a hell tour date

I believe he will make it work. He is running crates weekly, not sure of other classes. And he leased the track at Atwood for one year, never owe'd it. He has plans on running some late model shows. I hope the Hell Tour comes too. I'm sure it will be low car counts at first. But the year he run Atwood he stood behind his payouts no mater the car counts. I think it will grow. General admission will be cheaper than any track in the nation i'll bet, so folks will come from Paducah area to see.
