If a driver not on released list shows up can he run if someone on list doesn't show?

I thought I remember last year seeing someone, or a few, who "sold" their registrations. Actually on 4M, I think.

I'm not sure if there was a registration fee or not, but seeing how it was pre-registration only, with a cap (limit), I doubt you can show up in the hopes of someone else not. I also think pit spots are designated ahead of time.

I have a dome question. For thursday, it says at 3pm, on track activity begins. So I assume that means hot laps. Any idea what time heat races may actually start? Is it gonna start right after time trials? or will there be a big break?
If they arent planning on rolling the heat races til 7pm or something, then i really dont wanna show up at 3...
If the races are really right after hot laps and qualifying, 3pm seems like an awfully early start time for a thursday show considering a lot of people are at work til later

They do the same thing Friday.. 3pm hot laps. The early start time Friday is what stopped me from attending last year, and is stopping me from attending this year as well.

Why don't they run more then just this event? Dam good racing last year... Should do a few more during cold weather.

Anybody know if the extra fees are waived if you buy at the ticket booth on the day of?

They started at 3 last year and everything ended around 930-10. The first night was the lastest night of the 3, even then it was 1am. Everything was done early enough that you could roam the town and find something good to eat without going through a drive through.

They had a big party at our hotel on the last night, and there is a casino on the other side of the stadium. There are plenty of things to do after the races are over.
