The Bulls Gap race really doesn't belong in that schedule. Tennessee is not in the Northeast.

That's not relevant at all. If the Northeast guys have to show up for points then the Ultimate "Northeast" series is no longer a regional series. Drivers typically run a regional series because they don't want to make long hauls to Tennessee, especially not for a Thursday night show.

Let me see if I can help clear that up.

In ULTIMATE events - if a event is $10k to win or up - anyone from any region can come if they want too and if use the event to replace a worse finish in their own region. For instance - Volunteer is a mandatory event for the SE Region, so those teams have to come of course, but if you come from the NE its "optional" for you. If you have a good finish, you can use it. Just gives teams a opportunity to use the points. That way if you had a bad night in your own region you have the opportunity to correct it.
