Has anyone lowered the front of the deck on there older car, to be like the newer ones! And if so how much did you go?

Just the center of the decking so it slants up on the left and right side or lowering the entire width of the deck? If just the center I think 2 inches is all that is allowed per the lolms. Alot of newer cars are lower in general from the front to middle part of the decking and then another 2 inches in the middle. Then it gives the rear decking alot more angle from the middle to the back.

im in the process of doing it now. i lowered it 2 1/4" behind the seat and went as low as i could on the front before i got too close to the distributor which ended up being about 1 1/2. it doesnt sound like much but its definitely noticeable. Its a pretty big job if you decide to. I had to move battery, lead, brake lines, fuel lines, msd, coil etc
