Loved the interviews on Lucas Oil Racing TV with Lance Landers hopefully someone will uploadit to youtube so everyone can watch. Great interview. They had technical difficulties during Bob Pierce's hopefully it airs later.

They'll get up and ride that cushion to keep momentum. I thought for sure Bloomquist was going to try a last ditch come in high and dump it to the bottom on Bshepp for the win but he didn't. Some guys tried to run the bottom but the momentum wasn't there.

Speaking of which. I'm not sure the rough parts in 1 and 2 are good or bad. 🤔🤔🤔

Never have known for sure... How is the lineup for the Strawberry Dash determined? Is it just a random draw? I always assumed it was like a "last chance" race that was lined up by the B main finishes, but now I see that that is not the case. Just wondering.

edit, well now I'm confused. Tankersley starting on the pole of the Strawberry dash is what has me confused, because all of the lineup after that does indeed seem to go in order from the B main finishes.

Wow, good thing for the field that all of these races have not been points races, Richards has two wins, two seconds, two fourths, and a sixth place finish being his worst. Impressive start to the season. Going to be a long, competitive season it appears. Good luck and prayed safety to all drivers, crews and fans.

It's easy in hindsight to say you should've done something differently, but when you're out front it's not always easy to make that decision. Josh had a 4-second lead before the last caution. I had a feeling JD was going to make it interesting after that.

Another thing I noticed is how it seems Pierce does better when he starts towards the back in feature races. He almost just kind of seems to be floating around the track, with no true direction when up near the front. Eventually he falls back outside the top top or just around there. The couple races he started in the back, Bobby was making moves and passing. Idk, just an observation. Going to be interesting to see how quickly he can adjust to a full time Lucas tour with the best of the best going night in and night out.

It's all about qualifying. There hasn't been a lot of passing in the heats, so your qualifying time is even more important. By feature time the track has widened out and you can make up for a poor qualifying effort.
