IMCA Northern Sportmod 3 speed transmissions?

Looking to switch to a manual transmission. The junkyard saginaws are getting hard to find. Anyone have info on the best route to go? I hear some are way overpriced.

Are you looking for a "stock" one with the shaft milled down for the sportmods or a legally modified expensive one?

a powerglide puts more power to the ground and decelerates and accelerates faster than any manual trans you can run with the lightest made 7.25 clutch.. period.

bushore makes great ones, call them, they are cheap, a little over the price of a good clutch
