More promoters should attend the RPM workshops. Especially the new ones. They have helped so many promoters over the years and that has helped the drivers and fans to better experiences. how can you not learn something from the best track promoters in the business?

Nice read. The Mag fits with most all of these ideas. I think the article should have spoke on slow cautions. That's my biggest pet peeve in all of racing. My favorite is the jack@ss on the four wheeler that high tails it to the caution, determines hook is needed, radios tow truck, then learns he parked in the way when the tow truck gets over there. Geez! I've preached no stop rule to anyone who will listen the last two years.... If it's not red flag or raceciever issue then they should go to the back no matter their argument. And the guys that get a caution then magically take off again...............

They forgot the number one thing for any business. Always make the customer feel like he is getting more than his moneys worth. You don't have to give more than they paid for, as long as they feel that way.

I always like the no spin rule. Especially in the heat races. You cause a caution you go to the pits. Some tracks have a 1 spin or 2 spin rule in the feature.

I always gave a guy one spin... sent him to the back. next spin he's out.
