Logan Roberson Wins Twice and Claims Miniseries Title
Potomac Speedway and Winchester Speedway Next Up

Waynesboro, Virginia (04/26/18) – Logan Roberson had a crazy busy weekend in his Wynbridge Inc. #17 BTS Towing Service/ XR1 Rocket Chassis Late Model, and he made the most of the opportunity.

The talented 20-year-old racer scored two wins as well as the Battle of the Bay title.

“I’m really proud of what we accomplished last weekend,” Roberson commented. “Those fields were incredibly tough. We were consistent the first two nights and then the final two nights I was able to turn up the wick and get the wins and the championship. Our season may have started a little slower than I expected, but this team is hitting on all cylinders now.”

Logan Roberson kicked off the Battle of the Bay weekend by making the trip to Delaware International Speedway (Delmar, Delaware) on Wednesday evening for the RUSH Dirt Late Model Series sanctioned opener. With a stout field of 46 cars on hand for the Battle of the Bay, Logan locked his spot into the opening night feature with a runner-up finish in his heat race behind Matt Hill. Earning the eighth-starting position, Roberson improved three spots in the 30-lapper to place fifth behind Max Blair, Austin Hubbard, Ross Robinson, and Amanda Whaley.

The following night at Georgetown Speedway (Georgetown, Delaware), Roberson followed up the fifth-fastest time overall in qualifying with a third-place finish in his heat race.

Rolling off the grid ninth for the $2,000-to-win A-Main, Logan gained four spots reeling in a fifth-place finish behind Ross Robinson, Amanda Whaley, Matt Hill, and Max Blair.

For the third round of the Battle of the Bay, Roberson was one of 41 cars registered for action at Potomac Speedway (Bud,ds Creek, Maryland) on Friday evening. After laying down the second-fastest time overall behind Ross Robinson in qualifying, Logan bagged an 8-lap heat race victory positioning him third on the starting grid for the main event.

Outrunning Ross Robinson in the closing stages, Roberson ousted the 24-car field to pick up the $2,000 payday and his third win of the season. Robinson, Max Blair, Matt Hill, and Chuck Bowie completed the Top-5 finishers in the 30-lap affair.

The final round of the Battle of the Bay took Logan to Winchester Speedway (Winchester, Virginia) on Saturday, where he topped the 44-car field in qualifying by lowering the track record.

Earning the pole position for the feature after sweeping his heat race and the speed dash, Logan led from flag-to-flag, capturing the $2,000 prize along with the $1,000 bonus for winning the overall points during the four-night Battle of the Bay. Jeremy Wonderling, Tanner Kerr, John Waters, and Max Blair rounded out the Top-5 in the A-Main.
