FaLS SUPERMAN is onto something. Its not the Rocket XR1. The problem is between the gas pedal and the steering wheel. Bobby is still learning and is a 5 track superstar. Gotta remember the goat has over 70% win percentage the first time he sees a new track. The cushion will not always be there to lean on. I know we still have 50 laps to run but I knew 32 would show up this weekend. The Illinois tracks almost always force a driver to drive the car sideways and that isnt the fastest way around most nights

On a night where Bloomquist could've started 6th and stayed in line and finished 3rd or 4th he decides to start at the tail and finish 12th. LOL. I guess you have to admire that he always wants to win but sometimes it's okay to take the 3rd and not lose more points to Davenport. Especially with Macon tomorrow being a terrible track for him, those 20 points he lost tonight would be nice to have back. Unless he felt he had a tire going down or something before the start.

If there would have been 5 cautions the zero was onto something. He knew it was gonna rubber up and expected tires to pop and yellow flag to wave and he didnt want to be the one to bring out the caution. Those 1350s held up and he lost a few. Im afraid he is going to lose a few more tomorrow night is the big problem. He knew there wasnt going to be any passing so he went for broke. I like the play

always a tough call......take time to farm the track and hear complaints about down time or grab the money and hope they come back. Such a dilemma. Personally for 30 or 35 bucks for admission, i have a lot of patience. BTW don't rag on the winner.... he won it it fare and square.

Bobby was 4 cars behind Scott at one point. Scott was 15 seconds behind on RM and closed to 8 seconds with zero cautions in roughly 35-40 laps. Scott moved up a lane and got it worked in and went on a tear. Bobby ran his best lap on lap 4 and 0 ran his best lap on 37. Scott had the fastest car im the feature and you can't argue that. The man passed 14 cars and Bobby lapped 1-2. Scott rolled the dice on tires and it didnt work out. Bobby got the dub and my boy ran 12th. Thats racing. Pretty sure he was practicing for Macon because zero ran the cushion and had sparks flying in the heats lol. He waited 54 years to learn how to work the cushion and he is a work in progress at best lol

At the end of the night it only matters who took the checker flag first and last night it was Bobby Pierce. Bobby did have a fast car last night and it took a lot of patience to sit behind Greg lap after lap waiting for him to slip up.

Yes, but even easier to win in the rubber. He’s lucky that was Tmac behind him.

A rubbered up race track eats tires quicker than any type of track out there. Plus you have to hit the groove lap after lap, one slip up, and ya lose several spots. Doesn't really sound that easy to me.

Glad for Bobby and the whole DB team. Shame Tri-City locked down. Tracks reputation certainly isn’t that of a non prepped track. It does take talent to stay in the rubber. It takes talent, and all the drivers being patient with one another. And it is horrible to watch. Shame for the drivers and the fans.

Just my opinion but time shouldn't be the determining factor for track prep. They knew they had no chance of a good race without it, so in my view they didn't care about the paying customer.

Haha that will never happen. Wait until Bloomquist retires, they will say he wouldn’t win a race if Bloomquist was still racing lol. Most his hater will die off, while he keeps racing? Got another 20+ years of them coming up with reasons and they find new reason as the years passes.

From the post race interviews, It sounds like there was a bunch of loose stuff on the center to high lines. After the first yellow, it wasn't possible to run high. After everyone moved low, I'm sure it rubbered up.

The track took rubber but it wasn’t locked down. When a tracks locks down the lap times speed up considerably. It was a one grooved track because the marbles blew up the track and the boys were afraid to move up and lose spots. Still an awesome racetrack. I really like that place
