The ULTIMATE Mid-Ohio Valley Super Late Model Series and I-77 Speedway officials made decision to postpone the $3,000 to win “Inaugural Showdown” scheduled for Friday, May 4th. The event has been rescheduled for the following Friday, May 11th. The postponement has set up a double-header weekend for drivers of the ULTIMATE Mid-Ohio Valley Super Late Model Series. The series will join the ULTIMATE Northeast Super Late Model Series on Saturday, May 12th, at Tyler County Speedway for the $5,000 to win “Earl Hill Memorial.

“While we don’t like to postpone events, this creates a great double-header along with the Earl Hill Memorial at Tyler County,” said ULTIMATE Mid-Ohio Valley Director Robbie Cyrus, “It was really fortunate that it has worked out this way.”

The action begins on Friday, May 11th at I-77 Speedway for the “Inaugural Showdown”. The gates will open at 3pm, with driver registration and car inspection from 3pm to 6pm. From 6pm to 6:30, there will be a driver autograph session in the general admission area, so come early and get your seat and then get your favorite regional driver’s autograph. Driver's meeting will be at 6:40. Hot laps and time trials begin at 7pm.

The following night shifts to Tyler County Speedway for the “Earl Hill Memorial”. The race is co-sanctioned between the ULTIMATE Northeast and Mid-Ohio Valley regions. The gates will open at 4pm, with registration and tech from 4pm to 6:30pm. Driver’s meeting is at 6:45pm with hot laps and racing to follow.

The total purse for the weekend is $35,760 for the Super Late Model drivers, as ULTIMATE returns to the state of West Virginia. When the ULTIMATE Super Late Model Series visited I-77 Speedway in 2014, it was voted the #1 race of the year in the state. Four years later and ULTIMATE has grown into four regions of racing, with two coming together on Saturday night at Tyler County Speedway.
