I believe it's actually cheaper to watch from home by $5/night than to go to the track. Last year I took my then 5 year old for Saturday night...lets just say mom was none to impressed by the 3am arrival back at home...we will be watching from home this year.

USMTS is off this weekend and Strickler has only ran 1 weekend with them this year I believe. Can't believe he's not there being he won it last year, must have other obligations. Plus the weather isn't looking good and they said the track was already rough last night. Ricky Thornton and Ryan Gustin will both be there if the weather holds off.

Zyoung, you need to mention that Kay ran his best lap 2 hours before Bloomquist hit the track. Kay’s last run was .2 slower than Scott’s last run. Scott did indeed race a Shaw by Taylor to win the 100 thousand at Batesville. He drove a Hughes chassis at Mississippi Thunder. I would not be surprised to see Scott win the 50 thousand at Farley in a Rage chassis. Hunter Marriot and Darin Duffy have won a lot of races with the Rage chassis. I hope I can make it down to Farley for the rescheduled race.

I really can't see Bloomquist making it back for a make up date. Looking at the schedule, the only dates Lucas Oil has off, are the weekend of July 26-28, August 3-5, and October 5-7.
July 26-27 is the PDC for 30,000
August 3-4 is the USA Nationals at Cedar Lake for 50,000
that weekend in October is Bloomquist's only off weekend for Late Models, unless he passes up one of those big shows.

The class is dying slowly and with USRA and other factions popping up running limited late models, it's not going to get any better IMO.
