David Breazeale Jumps into WoO Rookie of the Year Point Lead
Ragin’ Rebel Records Third-Place Finish in First in Flight 100

Calera, AL (05/16/18) – David Breazeale carried his recent momentum into battle over the weekend in the inaugural First in Flight 100 at Fayetteville Motor Speedway. Behind the wheel of his Franklin Fence & Erosion Control #54 XR1 Rocket Chassis/ Jay (not a nice word)(not a nice word)(not a nice word)(not a nice word)ens Racing Engine Super Late Model Breazeale raced to a third-place finish in the big event.

On the heels of his podium finish he took possession of the lead in the World of Outlaws Craftsman Late Model Rookie of the Year competition.

“We had a great weekend at Fayetteville. Anytime you can finish right there with (Jimmy) Owens and (Brandon) Sheppard), it’s a good night,” Breazeale said. “We couldn’t do this without all of the help that we have. It means a lot to give my car owner, my crew, and my sponsors such a good run in a big event.”

David Breazeale traveled to Fayetteville Motor Speedway (Fayetteville, North Carolina) on Friday night for the opening round of the two-day First in Flight 100 presented by Hoker Trucking.

Drawing 34 World of Outlaws Craftsman Late Model Series entries, Breazeale followed up the third-fastest time in his qualifying group with a runner-up finish in his heat race behind Devin Moran.

Earning the fourth-starting position for the $25,001-to-win A-Main on Saturday evening, David jumped up one spot in the 100-lapper to place third behind Jimmy Owens and Brandon Sheppard with Shane Clanton and Chris Madden completing the Top-5 finishers.

David is currently leading the World of Outlaws Rookie of the Year chase and 9th in the overall point standings. For full results from this event as well as the complete latest standings, please visit www.WoOLMS.com .
