2nd Annual Bill Hicks Memorial Set for May 25th at 311 Speedway
CARNESVILLE, GA - The Ultimate Super Late Model Series Southeast Region will travel to the place
known as "The Daytona Of Dirt" 311 Motor Speedway located in Pine Hall, North Carolina on Friday May 25th for the "2nd Annual Bill Hicks Memorial" event promoted by the Hicks Family as Ultimate
Southeast competitors will battle it out around the 1/2 mile oval for 40 laps all chasing a $4,000 payday. The Fastrak Racing Series powered by Chevrolet Performance will also be on the race program Friday May 25th as our sister Series will kick off the first event of three at 311 Motor Speedway of the Annual Fastrak Triple Crown. That event will be 40 laps paying $2,000 to win.
Pit gates will open at 4:00 PM with grandstand gates opening at 5:00 PM. Drivers meeting is scheduled for 6:45 PM with racing to follow. Friday's race program will include the Ultimate Super Late Model Series ($4,000), the Fastrak Racing Series ($2,000), and Pro 602 Mod ($750) as they kick off the Pro 602 Mod Shootout.
Headed into Friday's event and after five completed events Tyler Millwood sits on top of the Ultimate Southeast point standings with 142 points over Kyle Hardy who holds down the second spot in the Series standings with 138 points. Zack Mitchell (127), Joey Coulter (122), and Jeff Smith (101) round out the top five in the current standings. The Ultimate Super Late Model Series Southeast Region has seen over 110 different competitors in 2018 in five completed events with four different winners. Michael Page, Jonathan Davenport, Tyler Millwood, and Zack Mitchell have all visited victory lane this season. Who will join the list of winners at 311?
