411 Motor Speedway welcomes the World of Outlaws Craftsman Late Model Series on Friday, June 1. It will be the series' first ever visit to 411 Motor Speedway. The $10,000 to win race will be one of the biggest in the speedway's history.

Located in Seymour, Tennessee, 411 Motor Speedway is a 3/8-mile clay oval with different banking on each end of the track. Turns 1 and 2 are flatter than the higher banked turns 3 and 4. The track provides a challenge to the drivers to navigate lap after lap that earned the nickname "Tennessee's Action Track."

Chris Madden leads the World of Outlaws Craftsman Late Model Series in points heading into 411. Winfield, Tennessee's Mike Marlar is just 26 points behind Madden. Defending series champion Brandon Sheppard and Shane Clanton are tied for third. Rick Eckert is fifth in series points just 90 points outside the lead.

Other series regulars expected to make their way to 411 on June 1 are Chase Junghans, Devin Moran, Brandon Overton, David Breazeale, Chris Ferguson. Tyler Erb, Morgan Bagley, Brent Larson, Timothy Culp, and Blake Spencer.

Regional drivers such as Dale McDowell, Casey Roberts, Shanon Buckingham, Billy Ogle Jr., Vic Hill, Robby Moses, Dakotah Knuckles, Chicky Barton, and many others are also expected.

Also racing on June 1 will be crate late models for $1,500 to win and sportsman late models for $800 to win.

Due to the large crowd expected, no chairs will be allowed in the grandstand seating area.

Ticket prices are $25 for adults, kids 12 and under are free. Pit passes and tier parking are $40.

The pit gate will open at 2:00. Grandstand gates will open at 3:00. The driver's meeting is scheduled for 6:30. Hot laps and qualifying will begin at 7:00.

Media credential requests must be submitted prior to the event. The deadline us Wednesday, May 30 at 6 p.m. The media request form must is located on the track's web site under "contact." Only track and series officials and media members will be allowed into the infield. All media members must have a brightly colored media vest before being allowed into the infield. Anyone that does not have one may request one from the track when submitting the credential request.

Despite off and on rain in the area this week, the race at 411 is still on for tomorrow. Crews are currently at the track working on it, getting it ready for tomorrow night.
